Sinking Star Guide is an unofficial fan site about Order of the Sinking Star, the puzzle adventure by Thekla, Inc. It is not made, endorsed or reviewed by Thekla, Inc., Arc Games, Gamirror Games or any of the designers whose games the worlds are based on. We don't use the official logo, and we never call this an official guide.
What we cover
The questions players search for most: which world to play first, what every hero does, how the Gold Rooms open up, and what to do when you are stuck or hitting a bug. We don't publish move-by-move puzzle solutions, and we keep late-game spoilers out of the main text or label them.
How the content is sourced
- Official sources first: the Steam store page, the developer's Steam announcements and patch notes, and Steam's global achievement statistics.
- Published reviews and previews (for example PlayStation Blog, Push Square, GamingBolt, GamingTrend, AltChar, Nintendo Life). We name them in the text where we use them.
- Player reports from the Steam Community forums. We give the date and how many reports we found, and we never present one player's experience as a confirmed fact.
- No fake hands-on claims: the people running this site have not yet played the full game for these guides. If we test something ourselves in future, the page will say so explicitly. Until then, nothing here says "we tested".
Facts that change, such as prices, review scores, patches and bug status, carry a "checked" date. When a patch changes something, we correct the affected lines instead of piling update notes on the page.

Game images are official screenshots from the Steam store page, credited "© Thekla, Inc. / Arc Games" and used for identification and commentary. The site's star-and-waves logo is our own original design.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, email us with the page and what you saw in the game (a screenshot helps). We check corrections against the sources above before changing the page.
